Off the Shelf and Outside - Paul Lindsay
Community Access Gallery

Paul Lindsay's paintings often include everyday objects that people see but rarely have time to stop and examine more closely. Lindsay often adds a touch of quirky surrealism juxtaposing the bizarre with the familiar.

The Blind Idealist's Black Dog - Jo Torr
Dusky Gallery - Level One

This exhibition draws the viewer's attention to the brief and ill-fated 1850s whaling settlement on the Auckland Islands. The sculpture, which takes the form of garments, allows the viewer to reflect on the existence of the settlement in such a remote and inhospitable place.
